Role Overview

Union Assurance is looking for a professional, well-presented Receptionist to manage front desk operations and provide administrative support, serving as the first point of contact to ensure a welcoming and efficient office environment at their Colombo 03 head office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations professionally and ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff
  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees courteously and efficiently
  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally
  • Handle official correspondence and documentation accurately and confidentially
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules for the HR team
  • Maintain accurate records including visitor logs, office supplies inventory, and administrative files
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Liaise with other departments, vendors, and external parties as required

Requirements

  • Minimum A/L qualification; a diploma in Administration or a related field is an added advantage
  • Proven experience in a receptionist, front office, or customer service role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional appearance and positive, approachable attitude
