Role Overview
Guiding Steps College is urgently looking for qualified and passionate Preschool Teachers to join their team immediately. Candidates must be qualified in AMI Montessori, Pre-school Education, or Early Childhood Education with Advanced Level qualifications, and must be fluent in English for teaching through the English medium. Candidates who are also qualified to teach Speech and Drama are especially welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool children in English
- Implement AMI Montessori or early childhood education principles in the classroom environment
- Create a warm, safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children
- Observe and assess individual child development and communicate progress to parents
- Maintain classroom records, attendance, and developmental documentation
- Conduct Speech and Drama activities if qualified to do so
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to maintain the college’s high standards
Requirements
- Qualification in AMI Montessori / Pre-school Education / Early Childhood Education
- Advanced Level (A/L) qualification
- Fluent in English — must have the ability to teach entirely in English
- Very good communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
- Young, energetic, and talented female candidates preferred
- Candidates qualified to teach Speech and Drama may also apply
