Role Overview

Musaeus College is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented teacher to join their National Curriculum on a temporary and part-time basis. The position is for a Teacher in Business Statistics delivered through the Sinhala Medium at the Advanced Level (A/L). The college offers competitive rates of pay for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Business Statistics lessons to A/L students through the Sinhala medium, aligned with the national curriculum
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, and relevant study guides for A/L Business Statistics
• Conduct regular assessments, mock papers, and revision sessions to prepare students for A/L examinations
• Monitor and track individual student progress and provide constructive academic feedback
• Maintain accurate student records and academic documentation as required by the college
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching standards
• Foster a disciplined, engaging, and supportive learning environment consistent with Musaeus College’s values

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree with Business Statistics as a subject from a recognised university

Expectations

• Proven experience in teaching Business Statistics or a relevant curriculum at a reputed educational institution
• Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English
• High level of computer literacy for lesson preparation and reporting
