Role Overview

Kokomo is seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist / Admin Executive to join their team in Ahangama. This role combines front-of-house reception responsibilities with administrative and operational support functions, making it an exciting and varied position. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple tasks with confidence and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Appointment Management – Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments efficiently using relevant tools and systems
  • Administrative Support – Handle day-to-day administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, documentation, and office management
  • Handling Financial Transactions – Process payments, maintain basic financial records, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
  • Assisting with Daily Operations – Support the management team in coordinating daily operational requirements and ensuring smooth functioning of the business
  • Greet and welcome clients in a warm, professional manner consistent with the Kokomo brand
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, messages, and email inquiries promptly and courteously
  • Maintain the reception area in a clean, neat, and welcoming condition at all times
  • Coordinate with management, staff, and vendors as required for smooth daily operations

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a reception, front office, or administrative role is preferred
  • Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Sinhala is an advantage)
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and email
  • Organised, reliable, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A friendly, professional, and positive attitude that aligns with the Kokomo brand
  • Willingness to work in Ahangama, Southern Province
