Role Overview
Telford International School – Galle is seeking qualified and experienced teachers for the Upper Secondary section (Grade 9 to A2) across both the National and Edexcel curricula. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for Upper Secondary students (Grade 9 to A2) in the relevant subject
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and examination papers aligned with the Edexcel and National curricula
- Conduct internal assessments, mock examinations, and provide detailed feedback to students
- Support students through O/Level and A/Level examination preparation
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and progress reports
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
- Uphold TIS’s standards of academic excellence and professional conduct at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institute
- Minimum two (02) years of teaching experience in a reputed school
- Successful completion of a teacher training programme, preferably a PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education)
- Excellent command of the English Language – both written and spoken
- Proficiency in IT skills for lesson delivery, reporting, and digital resources
