Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for Upper Secondary students (Grade 9 to A2) in the relevant subject
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and examination papers aligned with the Edexcel and National curricula
  • Conduct internal assessments, mock examinations, and provide detailed feedback to students
  • Support students through O/Level and A/Level examination preparation
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and progress reports
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
  • Uphold TIS’s standards of academic excellence and professional conduct at all times

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institute
  • Minimum two (02) years of teaching experience in a reputed school
  • Successful completion of a teacher training programme, preferably a PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education)
  • Excellent command of the English Language – both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in IT skills for lesson delivery, reporting, and digital resources
