Role Overview

Fort Resorts is currently looking for talented and professional individuals to join The Palms Hotel (Beruwala Resorts PLC) across multiple positions in the Front Office and Housekeeping departments. This is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals seeking a career with one of Sri Lanka’s most prestigious resort groups. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a professional qualification in the relevant field from a recognised university or institute.

Open Positions – Front Office

  • Guest Relations Officer – Build rapport with guests and ensure an exceptional stay experience
  • Lifestyle – Curate and manage lifestyle and recreation activities for guests
  • Receptionist – Handle front desk operations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest queries
  • Guest Services Associate – Provide comprehensive support to guests throughout their stay
  • Telephone Operator – Manage incoming and outgoing calls, transfer calls, and take messages professionally
  • Front Office Trainee – Entry-level position ideal for hospitality graduates and students
  • Bell Captain – Lead the bell team and oversee guest luggage and arrival/departure experience
  • Bell Boy – Assist guests with luggage and provide a warm welcome at the hotel entrance

Open Positions – Housekeeping

  • Room Attendant – Ensure all guest rooms and areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness
  • HK Supervisor (Housekeeping Supervisor) – Supervise the housekeeping team and ensure quality control
  • Public Area Attendant – Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces within the resort

Prerequisites

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Professional qualification in the relevant field from a recognised university or institute
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Team-oriented with a professional and courteous demeanour
  • Ability to work shift-based schedules in a resort environment
