Role Overview

Arpico Insurance PLC is seeking an outgoing and dynamic Officer – Call Centre with proficiency in Tamil to join their Call Centre team in Colombo 02. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer care, managing inbound and outbound calls, and maintaining service levels beyond expectations. Proficiency in Tamil is a key and mandatory requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically attend to inbound and outbound calls professionally and courteously
  • Provide feedback for customer inquiries and ensure that follow-up actions take place
  • Attend to customer inquiries empathetically and help them resolve their concerns
  • Assist and continuously update customer information on the system accurately
  • Elevate and maintain the Arpico Insurance brand image through exceptional service delivery
  • Meet individual and team call centre performance targets and KPIs
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance products to effectively assist customers

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • Successful completion of the G.C.E. A/L examination
  • Proficiency in Tamil is a mandatory requirement
  • Experience in working in a call centre would be an added advantage
  • Strong PR skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to handle and work under pressure
  • Dynamic, outgoing, and customer-focused personality
