Internship: Insurance Operations Intern — AIA Insurance Sri Lanka

AIA Insurance Sri Lanka is seeking proactive, detail-oriented undergraduates to join as Insurance Operations Interns. This internship provides hands-on experience in the operational backbone of Sri Lanka’s leading life insurance company — working across policy administration, client services, and insurance operations in a dynamic, award-winning workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Insurance Operations team with policy administration, data management, and documentation processes
• Assist with processing insurance applications, policy amendments, and claims-related documentation
• Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases for insurance policies and client information
• Support compliance and regulatory documentation requirements
• Prepare operational reports and data summaries for management review
• Assist in quality checking insurance documents and ensuring adherence to AIA’s operational standards

Candidate Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field from a local or foreign university
• Excellent computer skills — proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Preferably available for the internship within the next 6 months
• Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills in English
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational ability and a professional attitude
