Role Overview

Continental Tea is inviting energetic and confident individuals to join their team as Intern – Sales. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in promoting premium Ceylon tea brands in a competitive global market — working directly with the sales and brand team on customer engagement and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in promoting and supporting brand sales initiatives for Continental Tea and affiliated brands
• Engage with customers, distributors, and trade partners — representing the brand professionally at all times
• Support marketing and sales activities related to premium Ceylon tea products — including product presentations and customer follow-ups
• Contribute to building strong, long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business and brand loyalty
• Assist in preparing sales reports, customer proposals, and brand presentation materials
• Support the team during trade events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns

Candidate Requirements

• Strong command of English — both spoken and written — essential for engaging with international clients
• School leavers preferably from international school backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Confident, well-presented, and outgoing personality
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Genuine interest in sales, marketing, and brand development

An Added Advantage

• Prior experience in customer service or customer-facing roles
• Interest in or basic knowledge of the tea industry
