Role Overview
Jaguar Logistics is seeking a motivated Junior Executive – Finance to join their finance team. This role supports daily accounting and finance operations within a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified in accounting, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet financial deadlines.

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily accounting and finance operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and payment documents
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions — processing supplier payments and following up on customer receipts
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management statements
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance-related matters and queries
- Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as required
Requirements
- Part qualification in AAT, CIMA, or ACCA — or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role is an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and finance procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office applications — especially MS Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial management systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Candidates residing in Katunayake, Ja-Ela, Wattala, Seeduwa, or Kandana are strongly preferred
