Role Overview

Sterling Automobiles Lanka Private Limited is offering a structured Finance Internship at their Nugegoda head office. This internship provides hands-on experience in real-world finance operations within a growing automotive services company — with the added benefit that CA Articles will be covered for eligible candidates. High-performing interns will be considered for future permanent employment.

What You’ll Do — Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining financial records, accounting entries, and documentation in line with company policies
• Support invoice processing, payment verification, and expense tracking across the business
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting data analysis
• Help with bank reconciliation and basic accounting tasks
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Department as required
• Assist in preparing financial data for management review and audit purposes

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field
• Partly qualified in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or ACCA will be a significant added advantage — CA Article will be covered
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills with a willingness to learn
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to handle financial data with accuracy and confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
