Internship: Innovation Intern — Noyon Lanka, Biyagama
MAS’s Noyon Lanka facility in Biyagama is looking for bright, innovative minds to join their team as Innovation Interns. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience within one of Sri Lanka’s most sophisticated apparel R&D environments, working alongside expert technologists and engineers on cutting-edge innovation projects in the textiles and materials space.
Location: Noyon Lanka – Biyagama, Western Province
Job Type: Internship (Full-Time)

Your Role — What You Will Do
- Assist in research and development activities across ongoing innovation projects within the facility
- Support the planning and execution of fabric and material trials, laboratory testing, and sample evaluations
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for R&D activities and project updates
- Contribute to innovation project ideation and development discussions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Product Development
- Analyse test results and summarise findings for presentation to senior innovation teams
Who We’re Looking For
- Proactive undergraduates or recent graduates in Textile Engineering, Apparel Engineering, or Materials Science
- Strong communication and teamwork skills — ability to collaborate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Analytical mindset with genuine curiosity for materials innovation and textile technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and willing to contribute positively to innovation projects
