Role Overview

Canbarra Pvt Ltd is inviting applications from motivated, energetic fresh graduates to join their team as Management Trainees. This is a structured training programme designed to develop the next generation of sales and business management professionals within Canbarra’s growing retail operations across Battaramulla, Maharagama, and Kottawa.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily retail and online sales operations across Canbarra’s store network
• Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Handle customer inquiries professionally — both in-store and through digital channels (website, social media, phone)
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and positive reviews
• Participate in structured training rotations across departments including sales, merchandising, inventory, and customer service
• Learn and apply sales strategies, product knowledge, and business management practices
• Prepare sales reports and assist management in data-driven decision-making
• Support stock management, display arrangement, and store presentation standards

Requirements

• Fresh graduates in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
• Genuine interest in sales, retail, and e-commerce
• Good communication and negotiation skills in Sinhala and English
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and enthusiastic personality
• Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Basic computer literacy — MS Office, email, and social media platforms
• Willing to work at any of the three locations (Battaramulla, Maharagama, or Kottawa)
