About the Role

Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC is recruiting an Institutional Sales Manager at Assistant Manager grade for its Deposit Mobilization Department. The post is a business-winning role focused on large depositors: corporates, government bodies and other sizeable organisations. The person appointed will own the strategy for bringing institutional deposits into the bank and will report results directly to senior management.

Pan Asia Bank has been operating in Sri Lanka for over three decades. In recent years it has picked up several industry awards, including recognition from Business Today and LMD, and awards for green banking, ESG and CSR from international banking publications.

What You Will Do

• Plan and run deposit mobilization strategies aimed at institutional clients such as corporates, state entities and large organisations
• Build long-term relationships with the decision-makers inside target institutions
• Find and close new business that grows the bank’s deposit base
• Work with internal teams to put together deposit solutions tailored to each client
• Track market trends and competitor moves, and adjust the sales approach to match
• Meet and beat monthly deposit mobilization targets
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance and client feedback for senior management

Who Should Apply

• Full or part qualification from SLIM, CIM or a banking professional body
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related subject from a recognised university is preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in a bank or financial institution, with a minimum of 5 years in institutional or corporate sales
• Solid understanding of deposit products and day-to-day banking operations
• A target-driven track record, with proven planning, negotiation and sales skills
• A confident, outgoing personality and a customer-service mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
