In continuous pursuit of excellence and to support group-wide expansion initiatives, the company is looking for an applicant for immediate employment as Assistant Finance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with internal and statutory deadlines
• Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, management reports, and cash flow projections
• Perform product costing and continuously monitor the costing process
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management
• Authorise payment vouchers and oversee the accounts payable function
• Liaise with banks, internal and external auditors, and tax consultants
• Monitor bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supervise and review the work of subordinates

Candidate Profile

• Finalist of a recognised professional accounting body such as CA, CIMA, or ACCA
• Minimum 6 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in a similar capacity
• Strong knowledge of SLFRS/LKAS and statutory reporting requirements
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced working with ERP systems such as SAP
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in the manufacturing and trading sectors will be an added advantage
• Prior experience in a publicly quoted company will be a distinct advantage
