Role Overview

Hayleys Advantis is seeking a talented Senior Executive – Finance to join their Finance team at Welisara. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, management accounts, and supporting the Finance Manager with planning and compliance activities.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in an accounting or finance role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial statements
• Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLFRS/LKAS) and tax regulations
• Assist with internal and external audit processes
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required
• Support the digitisation of finance operations and ERP-related activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
• Part or full qualification from CIMA, CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of SLFRS/LKAS and Sri Lankan tax law
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
