Operating under the trusted Cargills brand, the bank is expanding its Treasury department and is on the lookout for an experienced FX and treasury sales professional.

The Opportunity: Treasury Sales Dealer

As a Dealer, FX Sales, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of FX products to a set of strategic and transactional clients. You will provide professional, high-quality services to Cargills Bank’s customers by offering a range of vanilla and derivative FX products and services, whilst remaining within agreed risk, credit, legal, and operational limits.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, SME, retail, and other prospective clients to understand and service their treasury needs
• Actively market and sell treasury products such as foreign exchange deals, interest rate hedging, money market instruments, and fixed income products
• Negotiate competitive exchange rates and pricing with clients to generate FX and treasury revenue
• Efficiently handle administrative tasks such as FX deals (spot, forwards, swaps) processing and report writing
• Provide advisory on market trends, risk management (FX, interest rate, liquidity), and optimal treasury solutions
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, branch networks, credit teams, and other business units for cross-selling opportunities
• Comply with all regulatory requirements, KYC/AML policies, internal risk procedures, and ethical standards (e.g. ACI Code of Conduct)
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on client growth, deal volumes, profitability, and pipeline
• Drive and optimize customer deposits and market competitiveness while consistently delivering the highest standards of client service

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of proven experience in treasury sales, dealing, or corporate relationship management within a licensed commercial bank
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Diploma in Treasury and Risk Management / CBSL Treasury Dealing Certificate / ACI Dealing Certificate
• Professional qualification in CFA, CIMA, FRM, or ACIB would be a distinct advantage
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks (currency, interest rate, and liquidity risks)
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills
