The bank is currently looking to strengthen its Project and Building Maintenance team with an experienced Technician or Senior Technician.

The Opportunity: Technician / Senior Technician – Facilities & Building Maintenance

This role sits within DFCC Bank’s Project and Building Maintenance (LRE) function and is responsible for keeping the bank’s facilities running smoothly across HVAC, electrical, generator, UPS, and ELV systems. It’s a hands-on technical role suited to an experienced facilities professional who is comfortable interpreting technical drawings, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and responding to emergency breakdowns when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of essential building systems including HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, ELV, and plumbing
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults with minimal downtime
• Conduct routine inspections and equipment testing to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Support installation, commissioning, and supervision of contractors for new projects and refurbishments
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance logs, and asset records
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers, evaluate technical solutions, and ensure high-quality work output

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or technical services
• NVQ Level 4 or above in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong practical knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, and ELV systems
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Willingness to attend emergency breakdowns and work on a shift or on-call basis when required
