Assistant Area Sales Manager / Sales Executive – Cladding & Roofing Materials | Delmege | Colombo

Delmege is now looking for a passionate and energetic sales professional with experience in cladding to join their growing team as an Assistant Area Sales Manager or Sales Executive.

Job Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets and drive business growth within the Cladding product category
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, architects, consultants, and project customers
• Identify new business opportunities in both retail and project segments
• Promote cladding products and provide product-related coordination and support to customers
• Conduct regular market visits to assess customer requirements, monitor competitor activities, and analyse market trends
• Prepare quotations, follow up on customer inquiries, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth sales operations
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management review
• Support promotional campaigns and other business development activities

Job Requirements

• GCE Advanced Level qualification; a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Cladding, Aluminium, or related building materials industries
• Good understanding of retail and project sales operations
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Good computer literacy including proficiency in MS Office applications
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driving licence will be an advantage
