Job Role

The Property Sector of John Keells Group is seeking a skilled and proactive Executive – Information Technology to oversee IT operations, systems, vendors, and infrastructure while ensuring security, compliance, and effective technology support across the Property Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for enterprise technology management to grow within one of Sri Lanka’s most prestigious conglomerates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage user access, software licensing, vendor relationships, service agreements, and technology-related procurement activities.
• Monitor IT systems, security, compliance, and operational governance activities while ensuring adherence to Group IT policies and best practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams, Group IT, vendors, ISPs, and third-party service providers to ensure seamless IT operations and project delivery.
• Lead and support infrastructure upgrades, network architecture enhancements, system deployments, and technology rollout initiatives across the Property Group.
• Conduct system and network health checks, identify risks, and drive continuous improvements to maintain a reliable and future-ready IT environment.
• Engage with business teams to understand technology requirements and propose effective IT solutions.
• Support business expansion initiatives through scalable infrastructure, network, and technology solutions.
• Deliver user training and guidance to support the adoption of new technologies, applications, and governance processes.

Personal Profile

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
• Professional certifications in Networking, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, or IT Service Management (CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, ITIL) will be a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrating 3–4+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, network management, or enterprise technology support.
• Prior experience in managing technical operations, vendor relationships, infrastructure projects, or technology rollouts will be advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of IT security, compliance requirements, and operational governance practices.
