George Steuart Optimize is part of the George Steuart Group and serves as its consulting arm, providing strategy, technology, and business process solutions to support enterprises in driving performance and execution. George Steuart Optimize is hiring a Trainee Business Analyst.

Your Role

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and project meetings
• Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure business requirements are met
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain accurate project reports and necessary documentation

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar capacity would be an added advantage
• A basic understanding of software development processes would be advantageous
• Strong analytical capabilities with a proven aptitude for problem-solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A fast learner with a collaborative mindset, capable of thriving within dynamic, cross-functional team environments
• Good knowledge of UI/UX visual modeling and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Balsamiq, Lucid Charts etc.)
