Amal International School, the Centre for Islamic Studies International School, was incorporated under Act of Parliament No. 44 of 1991. It is a private school in Colombo 06 whose motto is “Enter to Learn – Depart to Serve”. The school teaches the National Curriculum in English medium from Kindergarten up to Advanced Level.

Vacant sections and subjects (National Syllabus)

Senior Section (Grades 9–11): Sinhala Language, Health Science, Mathematics, PTI (Physical Training Instructor)
Junior Section (Grades 6–8): English & Literature
Primary Section (Grades 1–5): Kindergarten Teacher

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institute
At least two (02) years’ teaching experience in a reputed school
Completed teacher training, preferably a PGDE
Excellent command of English
Good IT skills
