Vidura College – Kurunegala is an independent national Buddhist school teaching in the English medium, located at No. 390/1, 3rd Mile Post, Aluth Malkaduwawa, Negombo Road, Kurunegala. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver well-planned lessons aligned with the Sri Lankan National Curriculum in the English medium at secondary level.
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student development.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
• Foster a disciplined, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Uphold the school’s Buddhist values and ethos.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A recognised teaching qualification (Dip.Ed, B.Ed, PGDE or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching the relevant subject at secondary level in the English medium.
• Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Bio-data must include two non-related referees (with mobile numbers) and a recent photograph.
