The position of Sub Inspector is an officer-grade entry-level management post in the Sri Lanka Police. Sub Inspectors lead police teams, manage investigations, maintain law and order, and are responsible for the supervision of constables and police constables under their command.

Key Responsibilities (Both Posts)

• Maintain law, order, and public safety within assigned jurisdiction
