Role Overview

Suit & Tie By Raphael is inviting applications for the position of Retail Sales Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career in fashion retail at one of Sri Lanka’s premium menswear boutiques. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, great with people, and driven by sales results.

Age: 20–28 years

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and provide an exceptional in-store shopping experience
• Actively sell and promote Suit & Tie By Raphael’s premium menswear collections — suits, formal wear, shirts, ties, and accessories
• Assist customers with product selection, styling advice, and fit recommendations
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective customer engagement
• Maintain store presentation standards — ensuring the showroom is neat, organised, and visually appealing at all times
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits and referrals
• Support the team with inventory management, stock replenishment, and stock counts

Requirements

• Age 20–28 years
• Fluent in English and Sinhala — ability to communicate confidently with diverse customers
• Creative and innovative mindset — genuine passion for fashion and style
• Hard-working and humble team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Great at sales — target-driven with a natural ability to engage and convert customers
• Passionate about fashion — knowledge of menswear, styling, and current fashion trends is a strong advantage
• Team player with good attitude and ability to thrive in a team-oriented retail environment
