Role Overview

Guidance International School is recruiting for four positions to support their academic and administrative operations. Applications are open until 1st June 2026.

Position 1: Marketing Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads
• Manage social media platforms and create engaging content (posts, reels, videos)
• Conduct field visits for student recruitment activities
• Organise and promote Open Days and school campaigns
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, partners, and community stakeholders

Requirements

• Qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience (education sector preferred)
• Strong digital marketing knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Creative and outgoing personality

Position 2: IT Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, projectors, and network devices
• Install and configure software and applications across the school’s IT infrastructure
• Ensure proper functioning of the computer lab at all times
• Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups
• Monitor and maintain IT inventory and machinery

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in a related IT field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support preferred
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Position 3: Public Relations Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Handle admissions and student enrollment inquiries
• Communicate with parents via calls, emails, and meetings
• Support school promotions, events, and public relations activities
• Maintain student records and assist with registration processes
• Work with the administration team to maintain a friendly front office environment

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Sinhala
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• School leavers/After A/L students are encouraged to apply
• Experience in customer service or PR will be an added advantage

Position 4: Creative Technical Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide students to develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Conduct interactive sessions and activities related to creativity, technology, and innovation
• Encourage students to explore ideas through practical projects and creative challenges
• Assist in organising student-led creative events and activities

Requirements

• A strong passion for creativity, innovation, and working with students
• Good understanding of modern technology and creative tools
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide students
