Role Overview

East Link Engineering Co (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Management Trainee – Operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a fresh graduate or undergraduate in Operations Management to gain real-world experience in the operations of an established engineering company. No prior work experience is required – the company welcomes undergraduates and fresh graduates. An attractive salary and sales incentive are offered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations management of an engineering company
• Support production, IT, electrical, and export operations functions as assigned
• Gain practical exposure to SAP ERP systems used in engineering operations
• Assist in coordinating operational workflows, schedules, and resource planning
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational reporting
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operational performance
• Prepare operational reports, data analyses, and presentations as required
• Develop product and operations knowledge through structured on-the-job training

Requirements

• Degree in Operations Management or equivalent qualification
• Job involves operations works of an engineering company – must be interested in this field
• Experience not required – undergraduates are encouraged to apply
• Preference given to applicants living near Colombo and Gampaha
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technically dynamic work environment
