Role Overview

The job holder is responsible for managing all Trade Finance products including LC document checking and bank guarantees, by providing accurate trade processing for Wholesale Banking, Project Finance, Business Banking, and Retail Banking customers, while managing operational risks and maintaining the service levels agreed with the respective business lines.

The Job

• Ensure that transactions are carried out to the best satisfaction of customers
• Ensure compliance to BCP standards and maintenance of professionalism in the unit
• Be abreast with current guidelines and international Trade-related publications and AML requirements
• Complete transactions according to procedure guidelines and exchange control and other regulatory guidelines
• Ensure sound product knowledge across all Trade products
• Identify risk areas in the processes and escalate matters of concern
• Ensure compliance to internal and external policies and procedures/regulations

The Person

• Fully or partly qualified in Banking & Finance or an equivalent professional/academic qualification
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Trade Finance
• Good teamwork and knowledge of IT skills

This position is at Junior Executive level.
