Richard Pieris Finance is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, and hardworking individuals to join their Risk team as a Junior Executive – Gold Stock Verification (Male), based at the Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

Continuously assess and update the management team on potential operational risks for the company, and implement relevant mitigation strategies in collaboration with all departments
Conduct routine audits of gold loans to verify the accuracy of physical gold stock balances against system reports
Perform verification of gold loan operations and ensure proper implementation of procedures
Review operational risk aspects of branches to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and guidelines, and recommend improvements to enhance quality
Follow up on corrective actions and risk mitigation
Design and implement procedures and a risk-oriented culture within the organization
Play an active role in strategy setting and corporate planning, liaising with top management, the board of directors, shareholders, customers, and other stakeholders
Visit branches and report internal control violations and deviations from standard procedure

Candidate Profile

At least 1–2 years’ experience in the Banking/Financial Services sector in a similar Risk Management capacity
An analytical mind with absolute attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A degree in Banking, Finance, Management, Mathematics, or Statistics, or a full or partial professional qualification in Banking and Finance (IABF/DABF), CIMA, or FRM
