Lumiere Textiles (Pvt) Ltd is a BOI-approved, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility specialising in the production of knitted fabric, situated in the Biyagama Export Processing Zone (BEPZ). As part of their ongoing capacity expansion, the company is seeking two dynamic, smart, and self-motivated individuals to join as Junior Executive – Finance, with vacancies available at both their Biyagama (BEPZ) and Colombo 07 offices.

Job Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Coordinate with external auditors for financial audits
• Follow up on accounts receivables and payables, and manage statutory payments
• Maintain proper documentation for all payments and journal vouchers (JVs)
• Prepare bank reconciliations and closely monitor bank accounts
• Carry out the stock verification process annually and when required
• Coordinate with other companies within the group on finance-related matters

Requirements

• Part qualification in AAT, CA, SLIM, or an equivalent accounting qualification
• A degree in Finance or Management from a recognised university would be an added advantage
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity in a reputed organisation
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks would be advantageous
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office packages
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of IFRS and taxation would be an added advantage
• Candidates between 23–30 years of age are preferred
