Junior Executive – Branch Banking

Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC — The Truly Sri Lankan Bank — is seeking experienced and customer-focused individuals to join as Junior Executives – Branch Banking at its Battaramulla, Hatton, Kaduwela, and Monaragala branches. This role is ideal for banking professionals with hands-on branch operations experience who are looking to take the next step in a stable, growth-oriented organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform teller operations, account opening activities, and provide service at customer service counters in accordance with bank standards
• Attend to customer inquiries efficiently while actively promoting cross-selling of banking products and services
• Ensure full accountability for cash and other financial instruments held under custody, maintaining accuracy and compliance at all times
• Maintain and manage bank records and documentation in line with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Achieve assigned operational targets and contribute to the branch’s business goals
• Actively participate in branch-level marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to support business growth

Candidate Prerequisites

• Full or part qualification in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL)
• Minimum of 02–03 years of experience in commercial banking, including 03–04 years in branch operational functions
• In-depth knowledge of banking policies and procedures, operational processes, foreign exchange transactions, regulatory compliance, and internal controls
• Excellent business communication skills with strong computer literacy
• An outgoing, self-motivated individual with a strong customer service–oriented mindset
