Job Overview

As a Sourcing Intern at MAS Activewear – Biyagama, you will be an integral part of the Procurement and Sourcing team, supporting raw material procurement workflows and supplier coordination. This is a hands-on internship designed to give you real-world exposure to supply chain management, procurement operations, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Role

• Share raw material purchase orders raised by the Procurement team with suppliers to ensure goods are delivered to Plants on time
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date raw material tracking sheets to provide timely information to the Plant connect team
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery timelines and flag delays proactively
• Support the Sourcing team in day-to-day procurement administration tasks
• Assist in maintaining supplier databases and procurement documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments including production planning and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow

Who We’re Looking For

• Proactive undergraduates or graduates in Business Management, Operations Management, Sourcing and Supply Chain, or a related field
• Strong communication and organizing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for the apparel industry
