Role Overview

Union Assurance PLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join their dynamic operations team as an Intern – Corporate Claims. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the prompt, effective, and fair settlement of all valid corporate claims based on the principles of insurance, and properly following up on all pending claims at Union Assurance. This is an excellent opportunity for a current undergraduate to gain meaningful exposure to corporate insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the prompt, effective, and fair settlement of all valid corporate claims based on the principles of insurance
• Properly follow up on all pending corporate claims to ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate with relevant departments and corporate clients on claims documentation and status updates
• Maintain accurate records of all corporate claims and supporting documentation
• Prepare reports and summaries on claims status for the operations team
• Support the team in reviewing claim submissions for completeness and accuracy
• Assist in communication with corporate policyholders on claims-related queries
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the corporate claims function

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, or Business Management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
• Eager to learn and develop within a leading insurance company
