About the Role
HR Masterminder is recruiting an Inspection Officer – Gold Loan Operations for its client based in Colombo 03. This role is responsible for evaluating gold articles, disbursing loans in line with approved policies, and supporting the branch in achieving lending and business growth targets within the finance/banking industry.
Position: Inspection Officer – Gold Loan Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate gold articles and ensure accurate assessments for lending purposes.
- Disburse loans based on approved policies and assessed value. Monitor and comply with all operational procedures, rules, and regulations related to gold loans.
- Collaborate with the branch team to achieve lending and business growth targets.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract customers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or a professional qualification in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university or institute.
- Minimum 02 years of experience in Junior Executive or Executive grades and handled similar job functions (preferably in Finance / Banking Industry).
- A sound knowledge in identification and assessment of gold articles, sound knowledge in entire gold loan operations and procedures, lending, financial products, credit evaluation, business development, and market insights.
- Competency in MS Office package / computer systems.
- Good communication skills in both Sinhala & English; the ability to communicate in Tamil will be an advantage.
