Role Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a student pursuing Chartered Accountancy exams to undergo training as a Finance Intern at Darley Butler & Co. Ltd. This position offers valuable practical exposure to corporate finance within a multi-brand FMCG company and the opportunity to cover your Chartered Article signing as the company is an approved training organization for Business, Corporate & Strategic levels of the ICASL.

Location: No 98, Sri Sangaraja Mw, Colombo 10
Job Type: Internship / Training
Age: Preferably below 25 years
Deadline: Within 7 days

Key Responsibilities

• Support the finance team in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Help with reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance
• Participate in audit preparation activities and documentation
• Gain exposure to corporate finance practices within a large FMCG company
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and management reporting
• Handle financial documentation, filing, and data entry tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance-related activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registered student of the Institute of CA / ACCA / CMA / CIMA (UK)
• Competency in MS Office packages (especially MS Excel and Word)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Enthusiasm for developing skills and ability to learn fast
• Age preferably below 25 years
