Role Overview

Fintrex Finance PLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive – Treasury to join their Finance division at the Head Office in Colombo 14. The successful candidate will manage daily treasury and money market operations, ensuring optimal liquidity management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations including cash flow monitoring, fund positioning, and liquidity management
• Execute money market transactions including placements, borrowings, and repo/reverse repo operations
• Prepare daily treasury reports and submit to the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Treasury
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Central Bank of Sri Lanka regulatory requirements including statutory reserve ratios and liquid asset ratios
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for funding, overnight placements, and investment activities
• Assist in the preparation of Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO) reports
• Maintain relationships with counterpart treasury teams at commercial banks
• Support interest rate risk management and foreign exchange position monitoring

Requirements

• Part or full qualification from a recognised professional accounting body (CIMA / CMA / CA Sri Lanka / ACCA) or a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a treasury, finance, or banking environment
• Strong understanding of Sri Lankan financial markets, money market instruments, and Central Bank regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in a licensed finance company or commercial bank preferred
