Janathakshan is now seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Company Driver to support their growing project operations.

Role Overview

Janathakshan (GTE) Ltd is looking for a full-time Company Driver to join their Colombo operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and reliably transporting staff and materials to project locations across Sri Lanka — including island-wide travel and occasional overnight stays at project sites. The closing date for applications is on or before 25th May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, materials, and equipment to and from project locations across Sri Lanka
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition — cleanliness, routine checks, and timely servicing coordination
• Plan and navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals at project sites island-wide
• Work late nights, weekends, and travel island-wide to project locations when required by the organization
• Be available to be based at project locations for short or extended periods to support field project work
• Assist with vehicle-related documentation including log books, fuel records, and maintenance schedules
• Handle any assigned transport-related tasks professionally and with full reliability

Requirements

• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a driver
• Age preferably below 45 years
• Willingness to work late nights, weekends, and travel island-wide to project locations when required
• Good knowledge of roads and travel routes across Sri Lanka
• Ability to be based at project locations for short or extended periods
• Flexible, reliable, and able to meet project-related travel demands
• Preference will be given to candidates residing close to Colombo
