Role Overview

Lanka Hospitals is looking for a compassionate communicator to join its Call Centre team as a Call Centre Agent. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, turning every call into a moment of care while maintaining accurate, up-to-date records within the hospital system.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle patient inquiries and appointment bookings with empathy and professionalism
• Provide clear, accurate information on hospital services, departments, and consultants
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within the hospital’s information system
• Escalate complex or urgent patient concerns to the relevant department promptly
• Uphold Lanka Hospitals’ service standards in every patient interaction

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Sinhala is required; fluency in Tamil is an added advantage
• Diploma-level education preferred
• Prior experience in customer service is preferred
• Compassionate, clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on a shift basis in a healthcare call centre environment
