Pan Asia Bank is now inviting applications from experienced banking professionals for the position of Assistant Branch Manager at their Kalmunai Branch.

Key Responsibilities

Overall management and running of the branch as a profit centre, adhering to set norms and operational guidelines
Coordinate with the Regional Office and Head Office to ensure smooth branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager and carry out duties as assigned
Oversee cash management operations including local and foreign currency handling, ATM operations, daily balancing, and adherence to insurance requirements
Monitor the quality of customer service delivered by operations staff, intervening where necessary to resolve issues promptly and professionally
Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and FIU requirements including timely and accurate CBSL reporting
Coordinate and support branch-level marketing campaigns to canvass new business and expand the customer base

Candidate Prerequisites

Full or part qualification in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL)
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in commercial banking, including 3–4 years in branch operational functions
In-depth knowledge of banking policies and procedures, operational processes, foreign exchange transactions, regulatory compliance, and internal controls
Strong marketing and sales orientation with sound business acumen
Excellent communication skills with a strong flair for public relations and stakeholder management
