We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Account Assistant.
The Role
The Account Assistant will support the finance team with daily financial transaction recording, reporting, and operational accounting tasks. This is an entry-to-mid-level accounting role suited for a candidate with part qualifications in AAT, ACCA, or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 year of audit experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions across all accounts
- Ensure financial accuracy, control, and proper reporting on a regular basis
- Support financial reporting activities and assist in period-end processes
- Assist with operational accounting tasks as directed by senior finance staff
- Reconcile accounts and maintain organized financial documentation
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial documents accurately
- Support the team with QuickBooks data entry and management
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in audit or a similar accounting role
- Part qualification in AAT, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all financial work
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Ability to work with QuickBooks accounting software
