Job Overview

The Junior Executive role is primarily focused on petty cash management, debtor monitoring, and supporting daily finance operations at the Wellawatte branch. The ideal candidate will be partly or fully qualified in AAT, with 1–3 years of relevant experience. This role offers exposure to a wide range of finance functions within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Monitor debtor balances and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Prepare basic financial and debtor reports for management review
  • Assist in account reconciliation and month-end closing activities
  • Maintain proper financial documentation in compliance with company standards
  • Support daily finance operations as directed by the Finance Manager
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal control requirements

Requirements

  • Fully or partly qualified in AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians)
  • 1–3 years of experience in petty cash management or a similar finance role
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office applications
