Lyceum’s Nugegoda branch is now seeking an enthusiastic and creative Speech & Drama Teacher to inspire students through communication, performance, and self-expression. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the performing arts, dedicated to building students’ confidence, and capable of delivering exciting, interactive drama lessons to learners of various age groups.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Speech & Drama lessons that develop confidence, public speaking, and stage performance skills.
• Nurture students’ creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for the performing arts.
• Conduct interactive lessons tailored to different age groups and learning abilities.
• Organise and lead performances, drama productions, and school events as required.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the academic team to align Drama within the broader school curriculum.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.

✅ Applicants Should Possess

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Drama, Performing Arts, English, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in Speech & Drama or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of speech training, drama techniques, and stage performance.
• Ability to conduct engaging and interactive lessons for students of different age groups.
• Excellent communication, creativity, and classroom management skills.
