Job Overview
The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately capturing, updating, and managing logistics and operational data across the company’s systems. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of John Keells Logistics’ operational records and supporting smooth data flow across departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain logistics data, shipment records, and operational information in the company’s systems
- Verify data accuracy and completeness before entry, identifying and flagging discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly data reports for operational and management review
- Support the operations team with data retrieval, documentation, and filing requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate data capture across workflows
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all data and company information
- Assist in updating customer records, shipment tracking data, and billing information as required
- Ensure compliance with data entry standards, company procedures, and accuracy targets
Key Requirements
- G.C.E. O/L or A/L qualification as a minimum educational requirement
- Proven data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and speed
- Good working knowledge of MS Office — particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Ability to manage high volumes of data entry tasks under time pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental coordination
- Experience in a logistics, freight, or supply chain environment will be an added advantage
- Basic familiarity with logistics management or ERP systems is desirable
