Job Role: Account Assistant – Rathmalana Branch
The Account Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the finance and sales operations of the Rathmalana branch. This role involves working across ERP systems, coordinating with warehouse and finance teams, and managing front office financial processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise sales orders, quotations, sales invoices, delivery notes, and handle related documentation via the ERP system.
- Provide accurate information on products, pricing, and order status to customers and the sales team.
- Coordinate with warehouse and finance teams to ensure timely dispatch and billing.
- Monitor pending orders and follow up on delivery schedules.
- Assist in resolving customer issues related to orders, returns, and documentation.
- Handle the courier process including coordination with the delivery and sales team.
- Support in preparing reports, presentations, and ledger entries.
- Ensure smooth and efficient front office process flow, aligned with company SOPs.
Requirements
- Partly qualified in ICASL or fully qualified in AAT or equivalent accounting qualifications.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the trading sector or an audit firm.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office packages.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Age below 27 years.
Location Preference
Priority will be given to applicants residing in Rathmalana and surrounding areas including Borupana, Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, Moratuwa, Panadura, and Boralesgamuwa.
