We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Accounts Department as an Accounts Department Intern for immediate employment.
The Role
The Accounts Department Intern will support the finance and accounting team with daily accounting tasks, data entry, invoice processing, and financial reporting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate in Accounting or Finance who is looking to gain practical, hands-on experience in a reputed manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily accounting tasks and support the accounts team with routine financial activities
- Support data entry and documentation into the company’s accounting systems
- Assist with invoice processing and accurate record-keeping
- Provide support for financial reporting activities and period-end processes
- Maintain organized financial files and documents
- Assist in any other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Currently following or have completed a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Kottawa, Piliyandala, or nearby areas
