Role Overview

Malith Kodagoda English Academy is currently hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time English Teachers to join their dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidates will be young, energetic, passionate about English language education, and available to visit the college at Pannipitiya to conduct classes in person. This is a wonderful opportunity for English graduates and language enthusiasts to build or grow a rewarding teaching career.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, interactive English language lessons tailored to students’ age groups and proficiency levels
• Create a positive, encouraging, and high-energy classroom environment that motivates students to communicate confidently in English
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with the academy’s curriculum standards
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continued improvement
• Maintain accurate student attendance and performance records
• Participate in academy events, workshops, and teacher development activities
• Maintain professional communication with students, parents, and academy management
• Be available to conduct classes on-site at the Pannipitiya location as scheduled

Requirements

• A young and energetic individual with a genuine passion for English language teaching
• Must be able to visit the college in Pannipitiya to conduct in-person classes
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills
• A degree, diploma, or certification in English, Linguistics, Education, TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA is an advantage
• Previous teaching experience is an asset but not mandatory — enthusiastic freshers with a strong English background are encouraged to apply
• Ability to connect with and inspire students of different age groups
