The college is now opening a brand new Matugama branch and is seeking experienced and passionate English language educators to lead and support its academic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Cambridge-aligned English lessons to students across various levels
• Develop interactive, student-centred lesson plans and teaching materials
• Assess and track student progress through continuous evaluation and formal assessments
• Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students preparing for Cambridge English examinations
• Foster a positive, energetic, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Participate in CCBE’s academic development programs and team meetings
• Work collaboratively with branch management and administrative teams
• Work at weekends as required by the college schedule

Requirements & Qualifications

• HND in English with 2 years of experience, or a B.A. in English, B.Ed. in English, B.A. in TESOL, B.A. in Language Translation, CELTA, or TEFL qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• A good team player who can work collaboratively and has a passion for teaching
• Should be able to work at the weekends
• One full day and two half days of leave on weekdays
