Role Overview

UC World Trust Group is seeking talented and creative young individuals (male or female) with strong technical knowledge in media production to join their team as Media Assistants (මාධ්‍ය සහායක). The role covers a broad range of media production responsibilities including videography, photography, lighting, video editing, and social media content management. This is an excellent opportunity for media-passionate professionals to work in a professional broadcasting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Videography & Photography: Professionally capturing high-quality video footage and photographs for media productions, events, and digital content
• Lighting (ආලෝකකරණය): Setting up and managing appropriate lighting for various production environments to achieve the required visual quality
• Video Editing: Editing video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools to produce polished, broadcast-ready output
• Social Media Handling: Managing and uploading content to Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok platforms; scheduling posts and engaging with online audiences
• Assist in the planning and execution of media productions, shoots, and live events
• Maintain media equipment and ensure it is in good working condition at all times
• Collaborate with the creative and production team to deliver high-quality content

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Basic technical knowledge in relevant field (media production, visual communication, or related)
• Hands-on proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects for video editing
• Experience or skills in videography, photography, and lighting setup
• Familiarity with social media platforms – Facebook, YouTube, TikTok – and content management
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
• Creative mindset with strong attention to visual detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
