Job Overview

The Sabaragamuwa Provincial Public Service Commission is inviting applications for the position of Driver (Open). This is an Open Recruitment vacancy available to all eligible citizens of Sri Lanka. Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport government officials, staff, and authorized passengers
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in good working condition through regular checks and servicing
• Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Adhere to all traffic laws and government vehicle regulations at all times
• Assist with the transportation of official documents, equipment, and materials as required
• Report any vehicle defects or accidents promptly to the relevant authorities
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned government vehicle

General Requirements

• Valid Sri Lanka driving licence (appropriate class for the vehicle type)
• Minimum education qualifications as per the official advertisement

• Clean driving record and no criminal convictions
