Role Overview

Semini Motors is inviting applications from dynamic, energetic, and motivated individuals to join their growing team as Trainee Sales Representatives. This is an entry-level sales role with a clear career growth path — providing structured training, mentorship, and direct exposure to the automobile spare parts industry.

Location: No. 632/2, Welikadamulla Road, Mabola, Wattala
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Preference: Candidates in proximity to Wattala

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day sales operations — supporting the sales team with customer handling, order processing, and stock queries
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with dealers, retailers, and customers across the assigned territory
• Learn and develop comprehensive product knowledge in automobile spare parts — including engine parts, filters, brakes, electrical components, and accessories
• Support the team in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Assist with product demonstrations, quotation preparation, and customer follow-ups
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and orders

Requirements

• G.C.E. A/L or equivalent qualification
• Strong interest in Sales & Marketing — a genuine desire to build a career in automotive sales
• Good communication and interpersonal skills — ability to engage confidently with dealers and customers
• Willingness to learn quickly and work in the field
• School leavers are encouraged to apply — full training will be provided
• Candidates residing in close proximity to Wattala will be given preference
